The La Quinta Resort is very spread out which gives it a feel that you are on vacation by yourself and not just at a hotel. The resort is full of one or two story casitas that surround various pools. There are 41 total pools, so if you don't like the one around you, you can just walk a few steps to another pool! We love to hang out by the pools and be able to walk back to our room, refill your drink, tune into a game for a break from the sun, or order room service straight to your pool.

There is a marketplace right across from the lobby that serves coffee, breakfast, homemade breakfast burritos, wood fired pizzas, cold beverages, and beer and wine to grab and go.

The plaza has 3 restaurants - Adobe Grill, Twenty6, and Morgan's in the Desert. There is just something special that we love about walking to and from dinner that makes us want to stay at the resort!

Adobe Grill is our favorite restaurant, with it's authentic Mexican food and amazing margs and guacamole. We love to sit by the fountain and listen to the live music!

Morgan's has contemporary American cuisine in a more formal setting. It's always fun to sit in the bar area after dinner to have a drink and listen to the pianist or relax on the patio by the fire pits outside.

Twenty6, named after the year the resort was founded, serves classic comfort food. Perfect place to catch football games!

The spa uniquely matches the vibes of the resort and is one of the best spa experiences that we've had.

You can grab rackets and equipment at the fitness center if you'd like to play. The courts are one of a kind surrounded by the Santa Rosa mountains.

If we're not by the pool then we are out on the golf course. The PGA West Mountain Course is our favorite course and walking distance from the resort.
